My Version of Baby Powder

Helloo there...
So hows ur mid week going on.. Its thursday now and I cant wait for the weekend already. Anyways..Coming to the subject, there are different versions of Baby powders out there...
and they can be categorized majorly into
  1. Powder made with TALC
  2. Powder made with CORNSTARCH
These are just the 2 categories, that are found commercially nowdays, with slight variations either in the fragrance or other extra added ingredients like chamomile, aloevera, vitamin E, ZincOxide etc...

While there are several lovers out there who loves Cornstarch based powder, they claim it as natural and i agree. Some say that Talc is carcinogenic, may cause problems to lungs if inhaled it for longer periods of time..and may cause reproductive problems if used for baby girls while changing diapers... whatever..but I love Talc based baby powder.

Talc based baby powder, especially Johnson's Baby powder has got just the 2 ingredients in its list and they are talc and fragrance. While there are soo many powders out there Johnson's baby powder is the only one with less additives. So im on it. Whilst Ive tried Cornstarch based powder from Johnson's as well..I didnt like it. It looked rough, patchy on my skin, never looked blended out. Whereas talc looks as though it smoothened out my skin, conceals some discoloration and never game me that patchy look that cornstarch always gives me.

So..from now on..Ive made up my mind that I always buy Talc based baby powder..no matter how many awareness programs go against talc :P

Bye for now..

Update:on Cerave Moisturizing lotion

Long ago Ive posted a review on Cerave Moisturizing lotion, which I liked a lot and is the only moisturizer that was great on me( without clogging my pores) and that ive used for pretty looong time, almost like for an year. And after using this from Oct 2010 to August 2011, I finally made up to change this lotion as my moisturizer. Why...??heres my updated review on it..

Update:
Well, its great with moisturization, never gave me oily sheen, sinks into the skin right away, looks as though nothing is on the skin, did not clog any pores or anything of such, but the only thing ive noticed is that my skin turned ashy/ greyish with this on. It all happened one day, while im stepping out of the bathroom turning off the light(Warm shade, always makes skin look healthy) stared at the mirror once again, and there I go, I looked pale, ashy, u know my skin almost looked like ive used somekind of greyish powder. Rest of my body skin looked pretty good, but my facial skin..oh god! I thought may be im not eating healthy, so i turned on everything to look my best..but nah... Ive done facials..increased my water consumption etc..but nothing helped. Then one day Im discussing this with my husband, and he said that he observed the same thing happening with himself. Cerave is the only thing that we use in common and there I go. Stopped using it and my skin was back to form looking lively and healthy. I jsut dont know whats  in it that made skin ashy.

Finaly Conclusion:
is that Cerave is defenitely good in terms of moisturization but it turned my skin ashy/greyish.

My Nude Nailpolish

Theres a thing called 'Nude Lipstick' but is there 'Nude nailpolish'?
I dont know..let me know if im not aware of that..but just now..Im done doing my nails after a pretty loong time.
Though theres spring around, I dont have the spirit to pick up bright colors, but i just want to do some nail polish, so thought of to pick up a nude shade( just like i do with my lip colors, picking up nude shades, whenever i dont feel up with the game) and picked up these two, which are quite similar.
  • Revlon Nail Enamel, Copperglaze Platinum,420
  •  Lakme True Wear Nail color,Classics, 501 Mocha Fizz Brown.
Both are similar shades..you can say there are dupes. They are more like taupe, beige brown with gold shimmers. These are my favourite shades that no matter how many other shades i have, i go back to this shade again and again.

Thats all for now..
bye fellas..

Daiper Rash Cream for Acne

Hello everyone..
Back to yet another week after a pleasant weekend?? Anyways..the topic of this post is how it turns out if u use Diaper rash cream for acne..
The other day..I was reading some website where they said that Zinc Oxide is pretty goof for skin, problematic skin to say and it cures/refines the skin. With that..I made a further search in the google..and there u go..the maximum %age of Zinc Oxide can be found in diaper rash creams...Desitin to say, maximum of 40%.

So then Ive gone to the nearest drugstore and got the Desiti Diaper rash cream, and used it on my huge cystic zit on my chin that I assume that I got from using Maybelline mineral powder foundation, before going to bed. By the next day morning...the zit was not at all painfull, reduced in redening, and the sebum(sounds nasty & gross, but Ive sugar coated it) came up to the surface..and after a session of steaming it...wow..the junk was finally out. By now I could stop taking care of it..but me..comes ahead and applied rash cream on it again..and by the evening..it all gone..i mean not like theres nothing..but its like almost leveled out with the skin...

I love the results sooo much that I finally decided to stop using the Zapzyt(10% BP) and use Desitin from now on. And not the results alone..the price is less alltogether. (dont remember abt zapzyt but desitin is $4)

Thats all for now..
Bye bye
