Orange oil (Citrus aurantium)

Sweet Almond oil (Prunus amygdalus)
1.5 mg"

Ok..now to move on with the main part of the Review..here are the tid-bits..

Price:
Costs around 200INR for 400ml.. and 100INR for 200ml. The prices mentioned are not exact..its just a rough figure that I could remember so far. So, when it comes to Himalaya Herbals price range, they are quite affordable or to say quite cheap for what the result they deliver. U need not think twice if u r on a budget.

Fragrance:
Its got citrus tones to it. Or much like an orange. But I love the fragrance. It may be strong after bath, but vanishes after sometime.

Consistency:
Much like a Body Lotion to say..If uve tried Vaseline White..its somewhere near to it.

Time to Absorb:
This is the worst quality of this product. It takes its own time to sink/absorb in to skin. U have to apply it, massage it twice or thrice to get the lotion soak in. Its horrible if its summer, though i manage it by applyin just a little during those hot/humid days.

Is it greasy??
Yes..it is greasy..but if ur body skin is dry.ul have that glowy look, but not the greasy feel. Basically, my body skin being dry, i prefer bodylotions, which adds some shimmer or glow. So this is not a prblem for me. But for those with normal/oily skin, they may suffocate like hell.

Does it moisturize enough??
Damn good.. Its my reliable lotion during winters. During summers, as i said, manage by applying just a tiny amount. Infact it used to moisturize so good, that my skin would behave normal, though i skip applying it the next day..u know when u r busy or tired..

Other Pros
My skin being dry, it shows up with some dark paches now and then. This lotion totally toned them down and my skin started to show off that brilliant glow. U know as though uve applied some sheer bronze.

So..am I done with all the things u need to say abt while Reviewing a product..?? I think i have to mention the Cons as well.. So here u go..

Cons
Nothing so far..atleast for me..but yaa..it takes forever to sink in to the skin..

And now for the latest news..
Just is the time, when I went searching the Himalaya Herbals Website, to get the prduct details and to my surprise, came to know that they've discontinued this product and introduced 2 products in.
Now I dont know whether either of the Protecting Body Lotion or the Nourishing Body Lotion will do just like the older one. But im sick of it..because earlier I used to love their Shampoo, but as soon as theyve changethe formula..i totally disliked it. Now Im a bit concerned what happens with this.
I just want to cry out.."Himalaya..Why do u have to change them when they are damn good..!!"

Wow..Vaseline!!!

Im loving Vaseline White Petroleum Jelly like hell :P Think im going crazy over it.

Its just yesterday that Ive made a tiny haul and bought Vaseline Petroleum Jelly, because my bed-side 'Nivea Essential Lipcare LipBalm' came to an end. Though Im a huge fan of Nivea LipBalms, it always left cracky lip at the end of the day, not enough moisturized lips. So, this time Ive picked up Vaseline and Oh my God...I applied a layer before hitting the sack and woke up with fully moisturized lips with those cracky skin almost dissolved in to the jelly and just a little massage removed off all the flakes. Finally left with no traces of dryness or dead skin.

Honestly...this is the best lip balm i could ever have..I could even hang on with bare lips without any lipbalm the rest of the day..and get on with it just at sleep time.

Whats ur Lipbalm..??Is it effective??
Does it leave behind any dry flakes by the morning as soon as u wake up??

Review: Cerave Moisturizing Lotion

Here with a review of Cerave Moisturizing Lotion..
I bet most of u may not be aware of the brand name 'Cerave'. Okay..to let things put simple, most of the people compare this with 'Cetaphil', so, got the point?

What it Claims:
Click here, if u r really interested to know what it says.

My Skin Condition / Past history... [A Story] :P
Ok to start with, my skin was never a problematic one, but past 1 year, its like hell. Its much like an Acne curse. Everyday I wake up with 1-2 added acne and it would take forever to goaway. Ive been to dermatologist n gynecologist as well..but they claimed that its just the hormonal imbalances and put me on medication. Yup, it went normal during that period but as soon as i stop the medicines.., they come back to mommy! By the way, my skin is dry-combination to say. Dry over the cheeks, forehead, chin and oily over nose.
Tried several moisturizers as well..but they, instead of moisturizing, blocked up the pores and created much of a havoc. To name a few, Lotus Herbals SheaMoist, Himalaya Face Moisturizing Lotion(intensive as well), Clean n Clear Oil balancing moisturizer, Biotique Morning Nectar, BioVera and some other prescribed creams.
Finally landed on this, and never had a problem with it. Searched for several reviews, been on reading reviews for months together and at a point of time, finally concluded 2 among them. One being Cetaphil and the other is Cerave.
Here, the Pros and Cons of it:

Pros:
  • Its Non-comedogenic. Never ever blocked out pores, or never activated a pimple (Unless its the time of the month..u know, nothing works then..)
  • Its not oily, not sticky or not stretchy (mean to say, it doesnt give that 'stretchy feeling' which is obvious with some gel moisturizers, ex. Lotus Herbals AloeVera Gel). Its even good for summers..
  • Its just absorbs in to the skin withing few seconds.
  • I had no issues of scaling or dryness since im on this.
  • Fragrance free..which is what i prefer for facial skin care.
  • Bottom Line: It simply moisturizes. Chupke chupke..This is my HG Facial Moisturizer..
Cons:
  • Hmm...have to think hard....Okay..its travel unfriendly. The packaging...comes in a huge bottle, that u need to pump some out in to a small bottle to carry it out.
Price:
Price..around $15... around 650-700INR. But thats not a concern..cos the amount u get..lasts for atleast 7-8 months i think..its 350 ml...

So..Thats my review... I wish this'ld be available even in India, so that ou lovely indians would benefit from it.. :)

My Winter Skin Care Sin

Hey everyone..
Its been forever since ive last blogged in. Anyways..busy life schedule, stress & strain taking in a lead. Okay, excuses apart, I feel so bad whenever i think of blogging and reading other blogs, I just miss it.
Anyways, to start with, just here to do a random post. About Winter Skin Care Sin that im at present committing on and on every day.

" Its just that Im not applying any kind of body lotions/creams or whatever after my shower or any part of the day "
Yeah..its too bad. Though i know the bad results it leads to, im just not enough motivated to apply these days. Dont know whats wrong with me. To start with here is my story rounded since an year.

[Past] Himalaya Herbals Soothing Body Lotion For Dry Skin:
Tried several other Body Lotions, but this is the only lotion that I adore, love and never ever made me to think of another body lotion. Ofcoure this may be a bit heavy during summers, but i hold on with it by applying just a little. But on terms of moisturization, it does a heavy job. I can sometimes even skip a day without it and the skin still holds on pretty good. In other words this is my HG Body Lotion.

[Present] Aveeno Daily Moisturizing Lotion:
This is my current Body Lotion, which is responsible for my lack of motivation to splurge on beauty rituals. Its fragrance free, but sometimes I feel it smells a bit bad on the other side. Anyways, it dint do any good on moisturizing my skin. I have to apply it twice a day, to see and feel that it sits just on top of skin. No offense though, I bought this after reading several reviews, added I couldnt get Himalaya's Body Lotion in the country that i live. In the end, Im just looking forward to finsh this asap.

[Future] Vaseline Cocoa Butter Deep Conditioning Lotion:
Nowadays, after the severe damage that my skin had been through, it even bagged a bit of dark patches here and there due to the dryness. So, turned my eye on this and thinking of to get this one next time. Please do let me know if u like it or not.

Anyways..thats all for now, and hope ild be atleast frequent at blogging from now on.
Ciao Beauties.. :)

Review: Neutrogena Nourishing Eye Liner

Here with a review of..
"Neutrogena Nourishing EyeLiner (Cosmic Black)"

This is what they claim about it:

"Neutrogena® Nourishing Eyeliner defines and brightens eyes with luminous color. Subtle light diffusers make the whites of eyes appear whiter, while rich color nourishes skin with Olive Oil and Rainforest Shea Butter. The built-in sharpener gives precise definition and the contoured smudger softens and blends for a variety of looks.

  • Infused with olive oil and rainforest shea butter to condition the delicate skin around your lashes
  • Creamy automatic pencil glides on smoothly, then transforms into long-lasting finish that won't budge
  • Built-in sharpener and smudger allow to create the perfect look--from precise definition to smoky effect
  • Available in 6 shades"

  • I bought it in 'Cosmis Black' and here are the pros and cons of it..
    Pros:
    • Intense Black color, good color pay off
    • Doesn't irritate eyes (mine is damn sensitive)
    • Packaging: Retractable point makes it easy to use, sharpening to get precision
    Cons:
    • Super duper smudgy
    • Easily transferable..mean to say, u can wipe it off with ur hand/fingers/tissue without any make-up remover.
    • Long lasting finish? Hell nno..i cant even see the traces of it after an hour or so..
    Price:
Bought it for around 5-6$. Pretty reasonable for an eyeliner from such a good brand. But I would say that the eyeliner is worthless.

    Would I Recommend/ Repurchase:
Hell..noo.. I plead not to get this.

    My Story:
Well, this part for those who wanted a more in depth review of it and my time with it. Okay, I have Revlon ColorStay Eyeliner and I love it and i find a bit hard to remove it. So I wanted a eyeliner which is good for eyes and ofcourse, I love NEUTROGENA for there skin care products. So, the ingredients list made me much more interested. It contains Olive oil and shea butter!
So is why, I picked it up. But it simply smudges no matter what i do. Raccoon eyes is another word! Got it??

    Thats all..
    Bye beauties..!!

    Blog Award..

Bhumika from 'New Love' gave me this award..
So trying to post it over here.. :p

Okay now i tag U..yes..U..to get this award and post it back in ur blog. :)

Now on to my useless ramblings..How would u feel if the climate out is cloudy, dark, cold??
I feel so lazy, drousy, and some times even depressed.. :( Now im in that state....came here to blog some stuff, but im just lacking the energy to do it.. However, im pulling out some few Things-to-do back at home, like steaming up my face and do a Facepack over. But not sure how am i going to do, with this state-of-lazyness seeding in...

    Anyways..How us week going..??

Searching 4: The perfect Mousse Foundation

Now-a-days im just searching here and there, reading several reviews, regarding which Mousse foundation or Tinted moisturiser is good in the market.

    My Current product:
    PONDS Age Miracle Tinted moisturiser.

But the place that I live, I couldnt find it and its about to hit pan. So, moving on to get other one.

    My Priorities are:
    • A liquid air whipped liquid mousse or a tinted moisturizer
    • Thats easy to spread or apply
    • That gives out a DEWY Glow to the face
    • Medium coverage is enough for me.
    • Reasonably priced. No Expensive brands pls. A good drugstore brand will do.
    • Non-comodogenic ; Safe for Acne prone and Sensitive skin
    • That doesnt rub off.
And at present im eying on these:
    • Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse Foundation
    • CoverGirl CG Smoother
    • Neutrogena Healthy Skin Liquid Makeup
Please suggest me, if u got anything else in mind.
    Thats all..

Beauty Talk: Do u need all those Expensive/Several Cosmetic products??

    Hello...

Expensive/ Luxurious/ Several SkinCare Cosmetic products are NOT AT ALL necessary !!

Just yesterday, I was watching TV, and came across this show called 'Dr OZ Show' and came to know abt some few things abt the skin care products..related to the decades everyone passes by.

Click here to view it by yourself.

It just claims that putting on several products like serums, toners, creams, lotions... etc etc..are not at all necessary..or to say, not at all required.

What u really need: (no matter what ur age is)
1: Just a moisturiser ( a good drugstore brand) is enought for normal/dry skin, with SPF
2: Milk of Magnesia, instead of those pretty face packs, to remove/clean the excess oil on face.

Just the time, when im thinking of to get some few more products to deal with my skin. Aah..!!Finally in peace!!

    Whats Ur SkinId ??

Okay..I mean "Whats ur Skin Id, if urs is acne-prone..??" To put short, Skin Id is kinda another departmental extension related to Neutrogena, that targets especially the serious acne issues.

[Clicking the image will take u there]

Ive came across this a few months back, when I was severely attacked by ACNE monster. Seriously, Ive tried every other product that my Dermatologist prescribed..but nothing worked for me. Its only until, i came across this corner, where i thought 'Why not?' And there I go. Im just going on and on with these products right now!

So Whats Ur Skin Id? Have u been there anytime earlier??
Let me know how it worked for u, if uve tried them at somepoint or the other..
    Okay..Thats all for today..
    Byee..

NOTE: Im not paid to post anything abt this. Im posting this just to share what worked for me.

    Bellepedia is back now..

Hello everyone..Hows everyone doing..?? Good!! Gud.
Now its been several months almost like 8-9 months since ive last blogged. Most of the people who come to Bellepedia might think that this blog is going to be abandoned. Why for that sake..i thought bad for not being able to blog in for myself. I miss blog-reading, commenting, chit-chatting with beauty bloggers and getting the motivation to all things beauty related.. :(

Anyways..everything happens for a reason. And now the reason being 'MY WEDDING'..Yes..Ive got married and its THE change in my life...everything from my single-dom to committed/married status...change of place...change of country...change of lifestyle..everything that sucked me from blogging. So to put in straight,Ive had a lot of changes in life...abt which lot of married women might understand what I exactly mean.

Whatever I ramble abt, let me put them aside and today im feeling very much motivated to start blogging over again. And very much pleased to see that there are several desi bloggers blomming that i couldnt notice an year ago. Cheers!!

    Okay..thats all for now..
Il be back tomorrow with some review may be..(ive tried lots n lots of new products) or some other tips that i came to know during my wedding-preperation period. And to add more..Im going to post few recipes as well... (yeah..ive started cooking as well..lol)

    Ciao Babes..!!

    Hand Masks..??

When was the last time u Masked Ur Hands..??
Well, I can say that 90% of the people never bother about their hands..though the rest 10% would care to apply a hand lotion on.. When it comes to me, I just go with a body lotion, but when they are super dry..I pick Lakme Peach Milk Moisturiser, which is a perfect substitute for a hand lotion.

Yesterday..Ive made a paste of the following ingredients..
    • Almonds + Cashew
    • Yogurt
    • Honey
    • Germinated Green Gram/Mung Beans
    • Few Spoons of Tomato Juice
and slipped on to my hands..
Let it stay rested for abt 15-20mins..and Voila..
I could not resist to keep on touching and oberving them the whole day..
